Description
This is the 1961 Cameron .15 (Cameron Precision Engineering; Don and Earl Cameron, Sonora, California) model airplane engine. This engine turns over smoothly with good compression and has a design that I do not think is employed by any other commercially produced model engine. It has a unique steel sleeve (ring) above the cast in ports--the piston top is stepped to obtain the intake and exhaust timing, with the piston riding in the cast aluminum case below the sleeve (so it is sort of a "mini" upper steel cylinder liner). The design does perform well. Add this to your American model engine collection. I will be listing a number of model engines this week, all at 99 cents and no reserve! The shipping charges include free insurance and delivery tracking (USA only). Thanks for looking! California sales tax*INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING*
