Use at rates of 1-5 lb/100 sq ft or 200-2000 lb/acre. Proper rates should be determined by a soil analysis. A little sulfur is a stimulant to soil microlife, an over application can be harmful. Use care during application.
Tiger 90 is a prill composed of 99.5% purity elemental sulphur homogenized with a specially selected high swelling clay. It is recognized that sulphur is a necessary nutrient in optimizing yields while improving the grade and quality of most crops. The addition of adequate sulphur with the right NPK greatly enhances the utilization of these nutrients. Tiger 90 prill is designed in size and shape to blend with other fertilizer without separating in the blend. Tiger 90 is a degradable sulphur and is the best economical source of sulphur. The relative consistent size of prill makes it ideal for broadcasting and banding. Tiger 90 should be used depending on the status of your soil tests. For sulphur to become available to the plant it must first be oxidized to sulphate. The rate of oxidization is strongly dependent on the particle size of the sulphur after its incorporation into the soil. Soil moisture causes the swelling clay to disintegrate the sulphur prill into sufficiently fine particles and surface area to speed up the conversion to sulphate for plant uptake.
