This auction is for a "Very Nicely Used" Condor Kopper King .604 engine. Built in 1941, this 80 year old engine has stood the test of time as it is in very nice, clean condition. Built by Pittsburg Brass Mfg. Co. The Tim Daniels Engine Encyclopedia states that only 100 were built. However I have seen other articles stating that 200 were built. On the right engine mounting lug the  number A115 is stamped in. I think it is worh noting that the engine is stamped A115  but I will let you make your own decision on how many were built. In either case this is a very rare engine in very good condition...
Compression is excellent and it turns over easily with a prop attached. The Red Bakelite fuel tank does not have any cracks and the machined copper colored head is a hard alloy and has no chips or cracks. The information/spec is from the Tim Daniels American Model-engine Encyclopedia vol. 1 page 52. See picture #5.
As rare as these engines are, finding one in any condition would be a real find so finding this one in this excellent condition is rare! Look up this engine on eBay to see the last
Condor Kopper King
that sold was on May 29, 2021. Look at the close up pictures and compare the condition of these motors.
Also included is a Black Wooden display stand and two extra Champion spark plugs in their original box's. One is a V-3 the other is a VG-3. I believe the one in the Kondor is a V-3.
