Mentalist's Dream Ideal Key Effect – Plain and Simple --- Something for your show!
You will receive:
4 color green glass orbs
1 color black orbs
1 nice bag to contain the orbs in until use
A nice ring to 'fancy' up your performance for this (and possibly other ideas) effect. The ring can used a diviner or if it suits you, it can be used as a part of your wardrobe.
A page to guide you (if needed) with some basic ideas. You are limited by your own imagination for ideas for this grade effect.
You can use ideas from a number of performers including
the tale of a game played by prognosticators, soothsayers,
oracles,
diviners
from the past. As the tale was told, a presenter would show a beautiful silk embroidered pouch and place one black and three or four color orbs. Once the orbs were put into the pouch, they were mixed around out of sight by all. The presenter would have three or four spectators draw a single orb without disclosing the color to the audience or presenter by asking each spectator to keep the orb tight in their fist and hold it out in front of them. With the orbs tightly in their fists, the presenter attempted to find if any of the spectators held the black orb. Where is the orb? The presenter knows and IT IS YOU!
This is only one idea. There is a number of ideas that will fit your presentation. You may have other thoughts. The ring fits my ring finger (unknown size).
