VINTAGE 1946 CONTESTOR  D60R (.60 cu/in) Spark Ignition Rear Rotor Intake Side Exhaust Model Airplane Engine. Complete with a rear mounted intake venturi and needle valve assembly, front mounted points ignition timer assembly, a rear mounted alloy fuel tank and a hot Champion V spark plug. This is a new and very rare and discontinued engine in excellent condition. This engine was designed and built post WW2 in Los Angeles, California, USA. The engine turns over very smoothly with very strong compression. The engine features a rear rotor intake, an aluminum
baffle top twin ring piston & steel cylinder assembly, hardened connecting rod, and a bearing supported hardened steel crankshaft.
This
engine will look great for display in collections and they perform great installed in model airplane kits or your custom design built stunt model of choice.
