For best performance with VRC, a High-Response Transmitter and Receiver, along with a high end PC, and a 144Hz or faster Monitor is recommended. For high resolution and a real life experience you need to have a decent video card and a good internet connection. As of 2020 a GTX 1050 chipset with 2 gig of memory video card is considered a minimum entry level gaming video card. . With lower end video cards  you can be competitive as long as you adjust your setting lower in the set-up menu of VRC.
