Thayer** Wrist Chopper

This is a used workhorse prop. The man who owned it prior to me used it a lot and I put it through its paces as well. I've been told that it is a THAYER wrist chopper from several sources. And, it could well be as it is identical to any that I have seen sold similar with TWO exceptions: there is no stamp on the base and the gold paint is unique in that I have never seen another quite like this one. With full disclosure, I truly do NOT know for SURE it is a Thayer or an Owen's or a knockoff. Bottom line: I am not sure. What I AM sure of is that it has many years of life left in it. It's big enough to be seen at a great distance and by twisting the legs packs absolutely flat. While I don't believe a wrist chopper gets quite the same laughs as a head-chopper, it brings forth much laughter and joy. Plus, your back will thank you for packing small and playing big. Stan Kramien once said something along the lines "I'm not sure if a chopper is a good trick or just a great comedy piece." It is meant to be played for laughs.
