    Description

    Very Rare Czechoslovakia Motorlet 2.5 Glow/Diesel Model Airplane Engine. I don't know what to make of this one. Apparently, from what I read, this is a very low production engine. It originally came with a glow head as well as a diesel head. This one only has a diesel head, no paperwork, no box. It has the winged "M" on the right side of the case with 2,5 under it. There is also a very small 013 stamped on the top of the right side mounting lug. The prop driver and backing plate are anodized but the head is not. There are tool marks on the screws and backing plate. The seal/gasket under the venturi is coming out a little where it mounts to the case. I suppose this engine has been apart before. It does turn over fine with good compression. Designed by Ivan Petr and manufactured in Czechoslovakia around 1962.
